Takedown & correction requests
Crail publishes vendor data compiled from public sources, and — where noted — short, linked excerpts of public Reddit/Hacker News discussion. If something about your listing is wrong, or you want an excerpt involving you removed, we want to fix it quickly.
Vendors: correct or remove your listing
If pricing, features, or any other field on your vendor page is inaccurate or out of date, tell us what's wrong and what it should say — we verify against your own pricing page/docs and update it. If you'd rather not be listed at all, tell us that instead and we'll remove the listing.
Community-signal excerpts (Reddit / Hacker News)
If you're the author of a quoted comment or post and want it removed from a vendor page, tell us the vendor page and the exact quote (or a link to it) and we'll take it down — we don't need you to justify why. We never edit or re-word excerpts; if it's your text, you have the say over whether we keep linking to it.
Copyright / DMCA-style claims
If you believe content on Crail infringes your copyright, include: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) the URL of the material on Crail, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We'll review and respond promptly.
What happens after you submit
We review every request manually — this isn't an automated removal. Expect a response within a few business days. For vendor data corrections, we may ask for a source (e.g. your current pricing page) to keep our verificationMethod disclosure accurate.
