These terms cover use of the Crail website, its data feeds, and its MCP server. They're written in plain language and reflect how the site actually works today. This is not a substitute for legal advice.
Use of the site and data
Vendor listings, comparisons, and agent-readiness scores are provided for informational purposes to help you evaluate software — they are not a guarantee of any vendor's fitness for your specific use case. Do your own diligence before making a purchasing decision, and verify any pricing or compliance claim directly with the vendor before relying on it commercially.
API, MCP server, and llms.txt
The JSON feeds under /api/, the MCP server, and /llms.txt are provided for both human and agent-driven research and are currently free to use. We may introduce rate limits or paid tiers for high-volume usage in the future; see the site for current terms if that happens.
No pay-to-rank
Vendor payment (where it exists) funds data completeness and visibility features — it never influences agent-readiness scores or ranking order. See our methodology.
Accuracy
We verify vendor data against public sources and disclose our verification method and last-checked date on every record, but software pricing and features change — always confirm details directly with the vendor before making a decision based on them.
Submitted content
By submitting a review, listing request, or other content through our forms, you confirm it's accurate to your knowledge and you have the right to share it. We may decline to publish, or may remove, submissions that are inaccurate, abusive, or violate these terms.
