In August 2025 Anthropic acqui-hired Humanloop's founding team and most of its engineering staff (without acquiring the company's IP), and the standalone platform was sunset around September 8, 2025, with its concepts reappearing as the Evaluations/Workbench tooling inside the Anthropic Console. Founded in London in 2020, Humanloop had raised roughly $7.9M in seed funding prior to the wind-down.
